Understanding Nutrition and Well-Being is designed to introduce students to the basics of nutrition science. With a rigorous, yet accessible approach, and the use of engaging and discipline specific digital tools, this title emphasizes evidence-based nutrition principles, and strategies for maximizing individual health through the use of proper nutrition.
Students will be guided through the principal foundations of nutrition science, including nutrient study, healthy cooking principles, diet and disease, nutrition throughout the lifecycle, sports nutrition, weight management, food safety and technology.
