Instructors can:

  • move, remove, or hide chapters, or simply identify them as ‘Optional Reading’ for students
  • modify the course organization
  • create customized quiz pools
  • add your own content and/or reference material – as long as it does not infringe on any copyrights
  • edit or add course work
  • update the grading scale

Please note the content cannot be edited (other than hiding certain chapters if desired)

LMS Integration

Currently, we offer Simple integration with Canvas and Blackboard and most Learning Management Systems. Simple integration offers a seamless connection from our course site into your Learning Management System (LMS) course shell. If set up, the final grade will transfer into your LMS gradebook at the end of the semester when all coursework is completed or the gradebook has been closed out by the instructor.

We offer Deep Integration with Canvas which provides enhanced features, such as a grade syncing and a detailed course table of contents within in your LMS. Regardless of the integration option you select, students will register their codes and will have immediate access to the course content and course work within the LMS course shell. Alternatively, the Survey of Historic Costume gradebook can also be exported from the course site if you simply want to have student’s grades visible in your LMS gradebook.
