Applied Music is designed to help students study the instrument of their choice, satisfy curriculum requirements of a music major (if that is their goal), and continue pursuing a passion for music. Students will develop skills and learn techniques to improve their performance as a vocalist or instrumentalist. Depending on the chosen package, students receive one-on-one online sessions with experienced mentors specialized in their discipline. The access fee encompasses resources and tools like online peer reviews, a practice video library, an online final jury, and additional features. Please refer to the “Integrated Resources” tab for more details.

Academically rigorous, yet accessible and engaging, Applied Music is a complete music instructional resource, and gives you the most music for your online, hybrid, or face-to-face applied experience. Everything you need for your course is included.

Video Library: Students have access to our video library platform of preloaded music videos tailored to specific instruments, aiding them in their practice sessions and facilitating their growth as musicians to achieve their goals.

eClipz: Is a platform where students can directly upload or record their solos into the system, allowing other students to provide feedback by commenting on specific time stamps within the video.

C4EStudio: The Applied courses are built for sequential study using repertoire materials from the ABRSM. This leveled approach helps students, with the support of a mentor, set goals, practice online, and evaluate progress. These sessions are hosted on a platform designed for minimal latency and optimal sound quality.

C4EAudition – Final Jury and Level Up: Students submit their final performances to our cloud-based evaluation platform. In C4EAudition, expert evaluators meticulously review the student’s video (which includes their four solos). The evaluator uses a standardized rubric and can offer personalized feedback tailored to students’ unique strengths and areas for growth. Upon successful completion, students not only pass their final jury but also level up in their musical journey, marking a significant milestone in their pursuit of excellence.
